Somaliland’s call for total separation and sovereignty is the only viable path for a successful future. The confederation they have been advocating for is a pipe dream, unrealistic, out of the question and
impractical.. Politically, economically and socially, the full autonomy of Somaliland is the only way forward to ensure a prosperous future.
The whole region stands to benefit from the two brotherly neighboring countries having a common interest in securing a better future. Both countries can work together to develop the region and create an environment of mutual respect and understanding.
The governments of Somaliland has worked hard to ensure that the people have a safe and secure environment in which to live and prosper. The full autonomy of Somaliland will ensure that the people can access the resources they need to continue to develop, and that the future generations can benefit from a stable and secure future.
The total separation of Somaliland from Somalia is the only viable path for a successful future. It is time for the international community to recognize the autonomy of Somaliland and ensure that the people have the opportunity to build a better future.
